In the spirit reciprocity we at Star Fire are aligned with and seek to support two organizations that are working to save and preserve land in the Amazon.
Peru’s rainforest is the fastest declining area of the entire Amazon basin. Both of these organizations are dedicated to creating ecological corridors that have the potential to help preserve the native communities and their land, water, animals and medicinal plants.
Camino Verde
Planting regenerative agroforestry systems made up of a diversity of native trees, including endangered keystone species. From these reforested trees we produce non-timber forest products, including high value essential oils from rosewood and moena alcanfor. Communities benefit. Forests are enriched.
