STAR FIRE FELLOWSHIP
Star Fire Fellowship, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) multi-faith, religious non-profit organization founded in 2017.
We are dedicated to cultivating a community connected through a shared dedication to nature, healing, transformation and inner awareness in order to awaken to the divine consciousness residing within all. The foundation of our practices are rooted in the spiritual traditions of the Americas and honor the plants as teachers, healers and guides.
OUR COMMUNITY:
SFF is home to a group of people from a wide variety of backgrounds and ages. Our prayer services are the container that allows multi-generational connections to unfold and where all are each other's teachers and students. The wisdom held within each of us is brought forward through prayer, rituals and offerings, music and meditation and deep inner reflection.
We are devoted to the spiritual awakening of humanity and aim to help each person realize the medicine they carry within and to take it into the world to be of better service to each other, nature and the earth we live upon.
STATEMENT OF BELIEFS:
We believe that the Divine Spirit resides within everyone and everything and that cultivating our relationship to it is the path to healing. We understand that all of life is sacred; and nature, land, water and plants contain the power to heal. We feel that ancestral wisdom and traditions are to be honored and cultivated by listening to our elders. And we believe in the importance of community and that the foundational virtues of faith, hope, love and charity when practiced can bring about the transformation that humanity needs to survive.
ETHICAL PRINCIPALS:
We at SFF recognize we are all children of the same Divine Mother and Father and honor each human being as equal. We stand for justice and equality for all beings and prohibit any type of discrimination based on race, color, religion, sexual orientation, disability, age, national origin or anything else.
We strive to engage in reciprocity with the places and people that reside at the heart of our practices and to honor the ancient wisdom traditions by respectfully honoring the lineages passed down from our teachers.
We prohibit misconduct of any kind including physical, ethical, sexual or emotional abuse.
We strive to create a safe container for anything that arises within the community and keep open channels of communication between the congregants, ministers and staff of SFF and honor the importance of sharing and listening for all.
“Community building is the most important action of the 21st century. We should learn to do things together, to share our ideas and deep aspirations in our hearts. We need each other in order to practice solidarity, freedom, and compassion so that we can remind each other there is always hope.”
